Omega-Com was founded in July 1984 by three language specialists—Norio Okawa, Frederic P. Metreaud and Richard L. Gage—with the goal of providing quality writing, translation and creative work in English and Japanese.
Adding numerous satisfied clients, a bright young staff and a variety of outside collaborators, the company grew steadily from there and expanded its business. Today, Omega-Com focuses on its cross-cultural communication services business, which is centered on producing multi-language printed and Web contents, and its book publishing business, which aims to produce original English books.
Within these areas of focus, we have recently put our greatest efforts into providing communication services in four fields: CSR/environmental reports, tourism, Buddhism and education. In a nutshell, our business philosophy is that “ultimately, people do the work,” which means trust in superior talent, craftsmanship in each word and sentence, and a spirit of fully serving our valued clients.
Omega-Com will continue to work within these unique fields of specialization to provide clients with exactly the quality cross-cultural communication services they desire, publish books that meet the stringent standards of readers, and develop our new Internet-based media publishing business.
